Rules for Visitors

To ensure smooth operation of the exhibitors as well as the viewing experience of others in Art Expo Malaysia Plus (2017), all visitors shall adhere to the following guidelines respectively:

  1. Strictly no touching of artworks. It is recommended to keep a 1-meter distance from all artworks on display.
  2. Video recording is strictly prohibited in the exhibition hall.
  3. No running, shouting, lying on the floor or acts that could potentially affect the safety of artworks as well as the viewing experience of others.
  4. Strictly no smoking in the exhibition hall.
  5. Pets are not allowed to be brought in to the exhibition hall.
  6. Consumption of food and beverage is allowed at Trader’s café.
  7. Children under age 12 must always be accompanied by an adult.
  8. Baby stroller is allowed to be brought in to the exhibition hall.
  9. Although the exhibition hall will be monitored by video surveillance throughout the opening hours, all visitors shall take care of their personal belongings, including but not limited to all materials acquired in the exhibition hall. The organiser shall not be held liable for any loss or damage of such goods.
  10. All visitors must comply with the requests and instructions from the onsite security personnel.Organiser reserves the rights to take action they deem appropriate if an individual does not follow the visitor guidelines, including warning and expulsion from the exhibition hall.

Guidelines for Teachers and Visiting School Groups

VISITOR
  1. School groups are welcome to visit Art Expo Malaysia Plus (2017) between 11:00am to 2:00pm (a duration of 3 hours) daily during the exhibition period.
  2. Advance notification of School Group Visit shall be sent to info@artexpomalaysia.com two week prior to the opening of Art Expo Malaysia Plus (2017).
  3. Strictly no touching of artworks. It is recommended to keep a 1-meter distance from all artworks on display.
  4. No running, shouting, lying on the floor or acts that could potentially affect the safety of artworks on display as well as the viewing experience of others.
  5. No sitting on the floor or congregating at the stage area.
  6. Sketch pads are not allowed in the exhibition halls. Students are not permitted to sketch works in the aisles to avoid obstructing the flow of visitors.
  7. Groups should be mindful of other visitors and keep their voices to a respectable volume.
  8. Consumption of food and beverage is allowed at Trader’s café.
  9. Students shall not carry bulky backpacks or personal belongings in the exhibition hall for the safety of the artworks on display as well as to avoid obstructing others. As the organiser is not providing any lodging service in the exhibition hall, it is advisable to leave such goods in the bus.
  10. Chaperone Policy: The recommended minimum chaperone-to-student ratio is 2:10. Chaperones must remain with their groups at all times during the visit. Group leaders and chaperones are encouraged to visit the exhibition prior to visiting with their classes to familiarize themselves with the show and its exhibits.
  11. Organiser reserves the rights to take action they deem appropriate if an individual or school group do not follow this guidelines, including warning and expulsion from the exhibition hall.
